I’m VP of Alumni Affairs for Phi Chi Theta Nationals Executive Council, and we meet up along with collegiates and other alumni every even year for the National Meeting (odd years for regional meetings!)! We weren’t able to have it in 2020 due to the pandemic, but we were finally able to meet in person after two years! We revisited New Orleans which was our 2020 location, and I definitely took this opportunity to travel and explore! The food of course was amazinggggg! Watch the vlog as we check out Bourbon Street, French Quarters, Jackson Square, Garden District, Commander’s Palace, Canal Street, Harrah’s Casino, Jean Lafitte’s swamp tour, etc.

Joshua Tree Day 1 & 2: Farmer’s Market, Skull Rock Nature Trail, Hidden Valley Nature Trail

My friends and I went to Joshua Tree in August, and it was an experience I never would have imagined. Hiking, bonfires, the struggles, the highs, the stories, and the inside jokes, this trip brought us together like family. Even looking back, it seems surreal, and even looking at these photos, it looks like I’m looking at someone else.

3-4 groups that have never met together as a whole came together and we built bonds we never expected. Here’s to Winter 2022!

In this particular vlog, Addison, Sally, Tommy, Hanna and I fly out of Laguardia Airport in NYC to Palm Springs International Airport and then take a car rental to Joshua Tree. We joined up with Michelle N. Lam, Collin Miller, Olivia Lam, and Luc Wittenberg! We went to our amazing airbnb, and then we went to the Farmer’s Market where we cooked our own lunch and made our homemade mojitos! Then we went to Skull Rock nature trail where we ran into drama due to no service and then we did the Hidden Valley Nature Trail in darkness because we missed the sunset due to the drama. Check it out!

We went to Chicago for our 4 year anniversary! | Deep Dish Pizza, Lincoln Park Zoo, 360 Chicago TILT

We always like to travel for our anniversaries and birthdays, and for our 4 year anniversary, we went to Chicago! This was Addison’s first time in Chicago, but my third time. We checked out Gino’s East and Lou Malnati’s for deep dish pizza, Lincoln Park Zoo, boba vending machine Mycha at Block 37, 360 Chicago and their TILT ride, Starbucks Reserve Roastery (biggest in the world with 5 floors!), shopping on the Magnificent Mile, Portillo’s, Millennium Park and the Bean, and Navy Pier! For the day of our 4 year anniversary, we had boba, got a massage, and went to a one Michelin star restaurant, Sepia! AMAZING experience!

We went to Los Angeles! | Visiting Michelle, Shopping, Huntington Gardens, & Hiking | LA TRAVEL VLOG

This trip was actually scheduled back in 2020, but we postponed it to May 2021, and finally the three of us best friends are reunited! We visited Michelle’s (@mewTripled) and Collin’s house (which they bought in 2020, woohoo!) and bonded with their cats Moonpie and Bon Bon!

Addison and I did go to Los Angeles before, but we tried to explore areas we did not go to before like Century City Mall, Huntington Gardens, Pasadena, Topanga Tuna Canyons, LACMA, and KTown! Where should we go next?

We traveled to Miami (and worked there)! | South Beach and the Everglades Airboat Tour & Alligators

This trip was supposed to be back in July 2020, but due to the pandemic, we postponed it to May 2021! We are fully vaccinated, wore masks, and social distanced, so we are taking the safety precautions, but we still had fun exploring Miami South Beach like Ocean Drive, Espanola Way, Miami Beach, and we also went to the Everglades for an airboat tour, alligator show, and even took a photo with a baby alligator!

We’re not the “typical” tourist in Miami that would go to bars and clubs, so if you’re looking for that, this is not the vlog for you. We actually were working while we were there in the hotel and only went out for lunch and after 5 PM. We took a half day on Friday so we could go to the Everglades!
