We went to Gastown, Kingyo, Stanley Park Biking Seawall, Richmond Night Market, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Kosoo, Shopping on Robson Street, Marutama Ramen with Jonathan (who was a project manager in TCC’s pro bono program)!

Subscribe to see part 2 of this trip going to Whistler Mountain, Sea to Sky Gondola, Granville Island, and more of Downtown Vancouver!

Working from Home with your Partner | WORK AND RELATIONSHIP TIPS

For over two years, my boyfriend Addison and I worked together from home at the same company and in the same location. Then the pandemic hit and we had no choice but to work from home 24/7 when before we had the option to go to the office or travel onsite for client meetings! How did we do it? Here are all of our tips we learned from living and working together when and after we were working in the same company!

TRAVEL VLOG: Nashville, Chattanooga, Atlanta | Broadway, Hot Chicken, Ruby Falls, & Lookout Mountain

After my last week at Accenture, Addison and I went on a trip to Nashville, Chattanooga, and Atlanta for fun! We explored Downtown Nashville, Vanderbilt University, and Broadway (and eating hot chicken at Hattie B’s!), then we went to Chattanooga for Ruby Falls, Incline Railway, Lookout Mountain, and Point Park! We then went to Atlanta and then headed back home!

WHO KNOWS ME BETTER: Boyfriend vs Best Friends Trivia Game!

I sat down with my two best friends ( and Sally Chen) and with my boyfriend (Addison Chen)! Michelle has been friends with me since high school (over 11 years now), Sally has been friends with me since college (over 8 years), and Addison an I have been together for over 4 years. Each come with a different perspective on our relationships with each other as people grow and develop, and while I wanted to do this in person, Addison and I did get COVID19 during the December 2021 holiday break, so we had to do this virtually instead!

Who knows me better? Watch to find out!

We went to Chicago for our 4 year anniversary! | Deep Dish Pizza, Lincoln Park Zoo, 360 Chicago TILT

We always like to travel for our anniversaries and birthdays, and for our 4 year anniversary, we went to Chicago! This was Addison’s first time in Chicago, but my third time. We checked out Gino’s East and Lou Malnati’s for deep dish pizza, Lincoln Park Zoo, boba vending machine Mycha at Block 37, 360 Chicago and their TILT ride, Starbucks Reserve Roastery (biggest in the world with 5 floors!), shopping on the Magnificent Mile, Portillo’s, Millennium Park and the Bean, and Navy Pier! For the day of our 4 year anniversary, we had boba, got a massage, and went to a one Michelin star restaurant, Sepia! AMAZING experience!

Addison Chen and I have been together for four years ever since that fateful first date on July 20, 2017! We went to celebrate our four year anniversary in Chicago this year! We also recorded a podcast episode reflecting, for both on our own accounts and moving forward! We’ve gone through a lot like living together, having cats together, and buying a condo together!

DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TECH CONSULTANT | Addison Chen as an Accenture Workday Integrations Consultant

What’s better of a household with two technology consultants than a vlog of what a technical consultant does compared to what I do as a functional consultant?

I follow along in Addison Chen’s day 73 Vogue questions style asking the questions you have about how it’s like as a Workday Integrations Consultant at Accenture! This not indicative of how every technical consultant, Workday Integrations consultant, or even Accenture employee does on a daily basis as all of that varies by client, project, role, and firm, but at least this would give you a snapshot of how it would be!

I also found it pretty interesting myself because I always knew what he was doing, but I never truly followed his day to day until now. Functional vs. Technical is very different!

This is Our Experience as Asian Americans | Stop Racism | CHATTING WITH CHRISTINE

Thank you, Addison Chen, Derek Mei, and Christy Joonie Park!

With what’s going on with the Asian American community, it saddens us to hear all of the harassment and assaults aimed at the Asian American Pacific Islander community. We wanted to bring to light about our own experiences as Asian Americans for you to learn about how it’s like living in the US, the prejudices and racism we experienced, the “model minority” myth, and how we feel on where we belong. We do not represent the entire Asian American population, but these are our personal experiences as Asian Americans!
