Vu Nguyen graduated from University of Maryland with a degree in biomedical engineering. He knew he wanted to go into technology consulting, so he found a job at Accenture Federal Services. Working with government clients is always interesting to explore how different they are compared to working with commercial clients. I go over all the nuances and questions I had so you can learn about working with government clients, how it’s like at Accenture Federal Services (AFS), which is Accenture LLP’s wholly owned subsidiary of Accenture LLP for government clients, and also more about technology consulting! This is usually a question most people ask when looking into the Big 4. They are usually used interchangeably, so sometimes they are one and the same, but OTHER times, they are COMPLETELY different. SO MANY college students come to me asking what can they do to improve their chances or how they can become a technology consultant. I put all of my advice separated by freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior year. This doesn’t matter how early or how late you discover the career of technology consulting or how well you’ve prepared or hustled up until this point, this advice is for everyone!
