I have been working on this exciting project for about a month now, and it is LIVE TODAY! I definitely want to share you all this achievement would love to see if any of you are interested!

If you are interested in technology consulting, you’ll soon realize is that there are no resources at all on how to conduct a technology consulting case interview which is CRUCIAL in the interview process. In my video, I go over exactly what is it, what makes it different from a normal case interview, and how to prepare for it!

I often get the questions on what exactly do technology consultants do on a day to day basis, and while that is a very difficult question to answer, and if you ask any consultant, they’re going to say “it depends.” I remember being a college student getting that same answer in all my informational interviews, but now that I’m actually IN the field, I have a clear image of what is out there and finally found a way to break it all down in a digestible format for you!

In this video, I go over the type of work and the type of projects you may expect as a technology consultant. As I only do software implementations, I’ve also asked other technology consultants and their experiences, so this should be a pretty comprehensive video on what kind of work you can expect to do!

In this video, I go over WHAT exactly is the staffing model, what’s the process, how can you get staffed, and some tips as well for you to find your first project or get staffed on a competitive and hot project! I also go over the subtle nuances of how this may differ in technology consulting.

Consulting is not for everyone, and frankly, staffing can be one of those things in the industry that can deter OR attract you to the career! It’s also one of those impressive nuggets of information that can really show the company you’re interviewing for that you truly understand what’s expected of you in the job and to succeed! 😉

WORK LIFE BALANCE as a TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT

Consulting is notorious for bad work life balance with long hours, excruciating work load, maybe toxic work environment, but I’m breaking misconceptions and providing an honest and realistic point of view in technology consulting work life balance. Hint: technology consulting actually has a better work life balance than management consulting!

In this video, I touch points on how work life balance is when you’re traveling onsite to client location and when you’re working from home.
